At Claires Court, students between the ages of 9 and 18 have the opportunity to Sail at our RYA Center, based at Maidenhead Sailing Club.
Students learn from what may be the most qualified Sailing instructor team in any school in the UK. Following the RYA Syllabus, students have the opportunity to join us having never been in a boat before, all the way up to National and International Level Racing, or even gain a career following our 'Further Sailing Program', taking part in basic instructor Training and more.

Paddlesports is another water based option for Claires Court Students. With the River Thames an 8 minute walk away, our Ray Mill Island base provides the perfect opportunity for students to learn to both the basics and more complex skills.
With a fleet of kayaks and canoes we train and develop students through the British Canoeing Paddle Awards scheme. Developing students to become skilled, confident and independent paddlers.

Established in 1956 by it's founder and patron, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a voluntary, non-competitive programme of practical, cultural and adventurous activities.
At Claires Court, we have our own highly qualified team and facilities to provide DofE of all levels to those students who are interested, and with the Chiltern Hills in the surrounding area, adventure is not far away.
