  • Lake Garda - "Take 2" October Half term saw 23 of our senior students heading off to Italy for the annual sailing trip at Lake Garda and hoping for a week of watersports, fun, and most importantly, good weather!Despite the very early start at the airport, spirits were high and the journey trouble free. We had arrived at Campione del Garda by early afternoon, introduced the team to Phoebe and the Andrew Simpson Watersports Centre team, and were out on the water less than an hour later for a fun afternoon's paddling. Sunday was a calm day, but that didn't stop anyone.   • RYA Eric Twiname Youth & Junior Sailing Championships The Eric Twiname Youth & Junior Sailing Championships at Oxford Sailing Club, is believed to have been the biggest team racing event in the world this year, seeing 54 teams race a total of 392 races over two days. Despite coming up against some of the strongest team racing teams in the country, the CC Firefly team finished in 21st place in the Youth Event, and the CC Feva team came 13th in the Junior event.

  • BSDRA Midlands Despite a number of months without much quality time on the water, the senior sailors took on 20 other schools and clubs such as Winchester and RGS Guildford in the BSDRA Midlands Sailing Championship, finishing at 11th overall.
